The website is operated by Worldwide Training and Education Limited, trading as Project Management for Charities (“we”, “us” or “our”).

Worldwide Training and Education Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12859403. Our registered office is124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX. You can contact us at info@worldwidetrainingandeducation.com .  By using the website, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the website.

2. Other terms that may apply :

The following policies also apply to your use of the website:

  • Our Privacy Policy, explaining how we collect and use personal information;

  • Our Cookie Policy, explaining how we use cookies and similar technologies; and

  • Any additional terms displayed in connection with a particular service, course, event, booking, subscription or digital resource.

These Website Terms of Use govern access to the public website. They do not replace the separate terms of business, booking terms or terms of sale that may apply when you purchase or commission training, coaching, consultancy, e-learning or another service from us.

3. Information about our services

The website provides information about project management, change management, agile working, Scrum and related training, coaching and consultancy services, particularly for charities and not-for-profit organisations. Unless a booking or checkout page expressly states otherwise, information on the website is an invitation to make an enquiry and does not constitute a binding offer to provide services.

Submitting an enquiry, requesting a quotation or contacting us through the website does not by itself create a client, consultant, trainer, coach or other contractual relationship. A contract will only arise when its scope, price and applicable terms have been agreed or when an online order has been accepted in accordance with the relevant terms of sale. Course availability, content, format, dates, trainers, prices and delivery arrangements may change. Any material details will be confirmed before a booking becomes binding. A course or qualification will only be treated as accredited, certified or formally endorsed where this is expressly stated in its description and confirmed in the applicable booking documentation.

4. General information and no professional advice

Publicly available articles, downloads, templates, guides and other website content are provided for general information and educational purposes.They are not a substitute for advice based on the circumstances of a particular organisation or project. In particular, website content does not constitute:

  • Legal, regulatory or compliance advice;

  • Financial, accounting or tax advice;

  • Fundraising or investment advice;

  • Charity governance or trustee advice;

  • Safeguarding advice; or

  • A guarantee that a particular project, funding application, organisational change or other activity will achieve a particular result.

Project and organisational decisions depend on their individual circumstances. You should exercise your own professional judgement and obtain suitably qualified advice where necessary. Any advice provided under a paid consultancy, coaching or training engagement will be governed by the separate contract for that service.

5. Accuracy of website content

We take reasonable care when preparing and maintaining website content. However, general information can become outdated and we do not promise that all content will always be complete, error-free or current. You should verify important information before relying on it, particularly where legislation, professional standards, accreditation requirements, funding conditions or regulatory guidance may have changed. We may update, correct, remove or reorganise website content without notice.

6. Permitted use

You may use the website for lawful personal, professional or internal organisational purposes. You may view website pages and print or download reasonable extracts for your own reference, provided that you:

  • Do not alter the content;

  • Retain any copyright or ownership notices;

  • Do not claim the content as your own;

  • Do not use it to misrepresent your relationship with us; and

  • Do not use it commercially except with our written permission.

Any permission given under this section is limited, non-exclusive and may be withdrawn if these terms are breached.

You must not:

  • Use the website unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that may harm another person;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server, accounts or connected systems;

  • Introduce malware, viruses, ransomware or other harmful technology;

  • Interfere with the operation, performance or security of the website;

  • Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or systematically extract website content or personal information without written permission;

  • Republish, sell, license or commercially exploit website content without permission;

  • Use website content to create or deliver competing training, consultancy or educational products without permission;

  • Use our content to train or develop an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system without written permission, except where such use is expressly permitted by law and cannot lawfully be restricted;

  • Impersonate us or falsely suggest that we have approved, sponsored or endorsed you or your organisation;

  • Infringe our intellectual-property rights or those of another person; or

  • Circumvent access controls or restrictions placed on downloads, courses, accounts or digital resources.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content—including text, course descriptions, articles, graphics, photographs, videos, downloads, templates, branding and design—are owned by or licensed to Worldwide Training and Education Limited. They are protected by copyright, trade-mark and other intellectual-property laws.

“Project Management for Charities”, associated logos and other branding may not be used without our prior written permission. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any intellectual-property right to a website user.

Purchased course materials, e-learning content, recordings, templates and participant resources may be subject to a separate limited-use licence. Purchasing or receiving those materials does not normally transfer copyright or permit their reproduction, resale, sharing or use to deliver training to others. Where third-party content is identified, the relevant owner’s rights and conditions continue to apply.

9. Downloads and resources

We may make templates, guides, checklists or other resources available through the website. Unless separate terms say otherwise, these resources are provided for personal use or internal use within the organisation for which they were obtained. You must not sell, publicly distribute, republish or remove ownership notices from them.

Templates and examples require appropriate review and adaptation before use. We do not guarantee that a generic resource will be suitable for every project, charity, jurisdiction or organisation.

10. Information you submit

Information submitted through an enquiry form or other website facility must be accurate, lawful and relevant to the purpose for which it is requested.

You must not submit:

  • Information you do not have authority to provide;

  • Defamatory, threatening, unlawful or infringing material;

  • Malicious software or code; or

  • Sensitive or special-category personal information unless it is necessary and we have requested it through an appropriate process.

Please do not assume that an initial website enquiry is confidential in the same way as information provided under a signed confidentiality agreement. If sensitive commercial information needs to be discussed, contact us first so that appropriate arrangements can be considered. We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Website accounts and login details

If the website provides an account, member area or restricted learning facility, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

You must not share an individual account with another person unless the applicable service terms expressly permit it. You must tell us promptly if you believe that an account has been accessed without authority. We may suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect security, investigate misuse or enforce applicable terms.

12. Third-party websites and services

The website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms or services, including booking, payment, video, social-media or e-learning providers. Links are provided for information or convenience and do not necessarily mean that we endorse the third party or everything it publishes. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy information.

13. Linking to our website

You may link to publicly available pages on our website provided that the link:

  • Is fair and lawful;

  • Does not damage our reputation;

  • Does not falsely imply an association, approval or endorsement;

  • Does not display our website within another website’s frame; and

  • Does not reproduce substantial parts of our content.

You must obtain written permission before using our logo or branding as part of a link. We may withdraw linking permission where reasonably necessary.

14. Website availability and security

We take reasonable steps to maintain the website and protect it from security threats. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the website will always be free from faults or harmful code. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the website for maintenance, security, operational or business reasons. You are responsible for using suitable security software, maintaining backups and configuring your device appropriately.

15. Our responsibility to consumers

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts any consumer right or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. If you are using the website as a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. We are not responsible for business losses suffered by a consumer, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity or commercial data, because the website is provided for personal and general informational use unless otherwise agreed. Where digital content supplied by us damages a consumer’s device or digital content because we failed to use reasonable care and skill, we will provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law.

16. Our responsibility to business users

If you use the website for purposes relating to your trade, business, charity, organisation, craft or profession, then, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The website and its freely available content are provided without any implied guarantee that they will meet your organisation’s particular requirements;

  • We are not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of general website content;

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; and

  • We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings, business opportunity, goodwill or reputation arising solely from use of the public website.

This section does not govern liability under a separate paid-services contract. If you require us to assume responsibility for a particular deliverable, recommendation or decision, that responsibility and its limits must be agreed in the applicable written service contract.

17. Liabilities that are not excluded

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

  • Breach of statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded; or

  • Any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

18. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website or a restricted area where a user:

  • Materially breaches these terms;

  • Creates a security or legal risk;

  • Infringes intellectual-property rights;

  • Misuses an account or resource; or

  • Fails to comply with applicable service or payment terms.

Rights and obligations that are intended to continue after termination—including intellectual-property protections and applicable liability provisions—will remain in effect.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, our services or applicable law. The current version will be published on this page and identified by the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website after an update means that the revised terms will apply from that point onwards. Changes to an existing paid contract will be governed by the variation provisions in that contract and not merely by updating this website page.

20. Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A failure or delay in enforcing a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

21. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of [England and Wales]. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections available under the law applying where you live and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law. If you are a business or organisational user, the courts of [England and Wales] will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from use of the website.
